EP 209: Fables Vol 1

Dad has more dental issues as Patrick maybe gave himself an overdose of allergy pills so listener beware as the duo cover Bill Willingham, Lan Medina,  Mark Buckingham and Steve Leialoha's
first volume of Fables from Vertigo comics,

Patrick avoided this comic for a long while for some reason, Dad seems to know almost every single character from the Fabledverse in this book.

Dad and Patrick feel the work as some pacing and storytelling issues, but Buckingham and Leialoha’s artwork moves the narrative right past a bit of a clunky third act.

Treats were walnut and dot cookies.

Patrick declares this to be one of the greatest Batman stories of all times because it completely inverts the Batman mythos and creates its own continuity.
