Patrick and Dad discuss the format of the maginze comics stip and if it could ever have a resurgence in American comics.


Patrick attempts to explain to Dad the Comics Code Authority and how this publication skirted the rule by being printed as a magazine instead of a comic

EP 177: The Sandman Vol 1


Patrick finally pulls the trigger and has Dad read Neil Gaiman’s  The Sandman Vol. 1: Preludes & Nocturnes large parts are understood and whole sections are not but fun is had and sweet are consumed

Tastykakes and Hawkeye comics are sent from a listener in the mail, Dad is on a perpetual sugar high the entire show!  

Dad really loves the scenes of hell and thinks Sam Kieth is the master of monster drawings.
